Rajasthan School Tragedy four children Dead Dozens Trapped

A  building collapsed in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district. It has taken the lives of at least four children, with dozens feared trapped under the debris and more than seventeen being severely injured. The incident took place at Piplodi Primary School in Manohar Thana block on Friday morning, around 8:30 am, when the roof suddenly collapsed during school hours atleast 27 students were present there. The school building was reportedly in a dilapidated condition, and was having poor infrastructure.

Rescue operations are underway, with local villagers, teachers, and school staff working actively to pull children from the rubble. JCB machines are being used to remove heavy debris, and disaster management teams have been sent to the site. Injured children are being taken to the Manohar Thana Community Health Centre for immediate medical care and support. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed grief over the incident, praying for minimal loss of life and speedy recovery for the injured.

The cause of the collapse is still unveiled and incestigations are going on to trace the exact cause of the sudden collapse, but early indications suggest criminal negligence due to poor infrastructure maintenance. Local villagers alleged that the school building had been in a dangerously dilapidated condition for a long time, with repeated concerns ignored. The district administration is leading the rescue operation, with officials confirming that several children are still trapped under the debris. The exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed, but the incident has sent terror and utter shock among the community.
