Rajnath Singh Dares Rahul Gandhi to Reveal Atom Bomb Evidence Against Election Commission

New Delhi — Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to present the so-called “atom bomb” of evidence he claims to possess against the Election Commission. This comes after Rahul alleged that the BJP had compromised the integrity of the electoral process in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing Parliament, Singh dismissed Gandhi’s claims as baseless and theatrics meant to mislead the public. “You are threatening to drop an atom bomb. Then go ahead and do it. Don’t just make dramatic statements,” Singh said. He urged the Congress MP to present any substantial evidence instead of making vague insinuations.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had accused the Election Commission of favouring the BJP during the elections and suggested he had explosive proof to support this claim. However, he has not yet produced any documented evidence in the public domain or in Parliament.

Singh emphasized that India’s electoral institutions are independent and credible, and that casting doubt on them without proof undermines democracy. He further stated that such remarks only serve to create public confusion and mistrust in the democratic system.

The BJP has consistently rejected the opposition’s allegations of election manipulation, while the Election Commission has maintained that the 2024 elections were conducted fairly and transparently.

This exchange adds to the intensifying political confrontation in Parliament, with both the ruling party and opposition locked in a heated debate over democratic institutions and electoral fairness.
